shot using a ren lens filter!
my first photogram ever!
lowkey kinda mixed media here with the painting and animals...
another painting piece!
One of my most personal pieces I've done. I made this piece when my cat Jack passed away that year, I combined an older photo I took of him that I had took on film about a year prior, when I got the idea for this piece I decided to take a photo of that same spot to show he is no longer there, hence the name "One year later" I really like how it looks like he is fading out of the picture
This piece is also important to me. The name of it is "Polar Opposites" This is a photogram which is the process of laying objects over photo paper where it will basically print the objects onto that paper once exposed to light, and then you develop it! I made this piece last year when I was feeling distraught with current events at the time (2024 election) And I needed to make a new piece for studio art so I just threw this together using stuff I found around the room, fake flowers that created what looks like a butterfly to me in the middle, and this random stencil of the face that I found in the room, so I put it on the paper and then inverted to make the other side and taped it together. Another reason this piece is very special to me is because I won an award for it! I won at the burbs art show and that is another reason it is special to me :)
